Starting out a self-taught drummer for 2 years, Stephen realized as a teenager the power of the mentorship of a great teacher. Just 2 months into working with a one-on-one teacher, he made far more progress in 60 days than he had the prior 2 years of being self-taught - and was soon able to start playing with a band even as a beginner.
Over a decade-and-a-half into his playing career, Stephen now works to help self taught drummers around the world do the same - because nobody should have to go at this alone.
