Yes, classes will be live. Recordings will be posted afterward, but they won't be available for purchase. You'll have access to them for the duration of the challenge (Access to recordings will end Saturday night after the challenge).

If you grab a VIP ticket (which you absolutely should if you want to get a ton out of this event!), then you'll join me at 10:30am EST each morning for an hour of live Q&A coaching on Zoom prior to the main teaching session at 11:30am. 

You ask a question by raising your hand virtually, and we get to have a conversation as I coach you and answer your questions. All Q&A sessions will be recorded and the replays posted for you to watch during the duration of the challenge. However, you must be present on the call in order to ask questions. We won't be doing any pre-submitted questions.

This Q&A coaching segment will be even more valuable to you if you're a new drummer. Oftentimes you don't know what questions to ask as a beginner, so you learn a ton from others' questions. It's amazing how much you learn and are challenged and held accountable when you're in a high energy, focused group like this. I hope you'll join us!

Each day we'll all meet together on Zoom from 11:30am EST to 12:30pm, where I'll teach the class, and we'll recap and share wins, shifts, and successes. 

You'll have access to a FB-style community for the duration of the challenge (access will end Saturday night after the challenge), where you can post questions and interact with other students in the challenge.

This is for any drummer who's been learning online but struggling with fills. If you're not 100% confident playing fills, this is the place for you to be.

This is especially for you church drummers playing modern worship music, as well as anyone playing in a rock, pop, or country cover band. 

And if you're just jamming with friends or playing in your basement, this is for you too. You'll learn a ton even as a brand new beginner.

You have to commit to taking action and putting in the work this week in order for you to grow and get massive results. 

So if you're looking for hacks, cheats, or ways to get better at the drums without putting in any work... then this is NOT for you.

But if you're ready to pay attention, take notes, take action, and play along with me... You'll reap massive reward. 

Yes, there will be. :) Taking this challenge with me means you taking action and doing the homework and getting massive results. Nobody here will be competing against each other - Only against "how good you were yesterday." 

This is geared toward self-taught beginner drummers who have gotten started on their drumming journey - but are stuck and frustrated when it comes to fills.

However, nothing taught in this challenge is too complicated for a brand new beginner. Whether you just got started yesterday, or you're a veteran player looking to brush up and put some polish on your fills, this challenge is for you.

Probably not. Our goal for you is not to increase your speed or chops this week, but to increase the musicality and quality of your fills.

Did you know that 99% of the greatest fills aren't actually fast and don't actually involve a ton of notes? These are the kind of fills every drummer needs to get better at.

You'll be playing fills that are impactful, compelling, and musical. That means 95% of the fills you hear in pop, rock, country, or modern worship. 

What we're not teaching this week is "how to blaze around the kit at supersonic speed." If you want to do that, just practice singles around the kit every day.

Instead, we're teaching you how to create & improvise parts on the drums that sound awesome, are fun to play, and that your audience loves too. These are real studio-drummer skills!

Each challenge session will happen live Monday-Thursday from 11:30am to 12:30pm EST.

If you're not able to join us live, you'll have access to the recordings for the duration of the challenge (until Saturday night after the challenge ends). 

So make every effort to take an early lunch break so you can join us live. 😃 You west-coasters can join us during your breakfast, and you Europeans can take an early dinner and join us during tea time. Clearly I've thought this through and highly recommend combining learning with food. 😜

No. I wanted to make this a free event, because I'm not trying to make money off of it.

However, I realized that I would be doing you a disservice in doing so. I know that if I register for a free live event, I might half pay attention. I probably won't take action on everything, and honestly I might forget about the whole thing altogether!
